Custom Programs
Tailored and Flexible Programs: In collaboration with teachers, school principals, deans and individual family members, Adventures Cross-Country (ARCC) creates exclusive adventures that are specifically tailored to the unique goals and interests of your group. There is no limit to what we can do when creating a custom itinerary; programs can range from a few days to a few weeks, from domestic locations to the furthest reaches of the globe. Regardless of the location, each and every custom adventure is designed with great attention to detail and is always led by our experienced trip leaders.
A True Partnership: From the first phone call, email or in-person visit, Adventures Cross-Country is dedicated to creating a program suitable to your specific needs. We are available to answer your questions and provide insight while working out the details of where you want to go and what you want to do. From there we will fine tune the program details to create a unique itinerary that best meets your groups' needs. We will provide you with materials to distribute to prospective participants in the enrollment process. Once all participants are on board, we will send an information packet for each family.

What ARCC Provides
Exceptional Leadership: All ARCC Trip Leaders are highly qualified and well-trained Trip Leaders who are enthusiastic about adventure, serving others, traveling and helping teenagers thrive. Depending on the needs/desires of your school, trips can be run exclusively by ARCC Trip Leaders or in conjunction with your school staff.
Unique Access: With twenty-eight years of experience, we are fortunate to have created relationships with communities all over the world and have retained exclusive access to many of the incredible National Parks right here in the United States. This access allows our groups to have personal, authentic encounters with the people, the culture and the lands they visit. In addition we work with local outfitters and guides who are intimately acquainted with their areas.
Pre-Trip Information: Our staff is available to answer questions from the school administrators, teachers or participating families at any time. We provide you with the resources you need to address questions regarding health, safety, communication and more.
Trip Logistics: Our trips are completely comprehensive and include everything outlined in the itinerary, there are no hidden costs. Itineraries include all meals, lodging, transportation*, activities as listed in the itinerary (including entrance fees to parks, museums, etc.), ARCC curriculum (including leadership development, community service, wilderness skills, marine science and language instruction) and all group equipment for activities.
Emergency Support: In addition to our emergency plans in place and our local contacts at the trip locations, our home base provides 24-hour emergency support.
*If airfare is necessary, we are able to provide competitive quotes and make all air travel arrangements. We are also able to provide access to custom travel insurance packages.
