Dear Friends,
At Adventures Cross-Country we are proud to create programs that allow teenagers to experience the world in unique and exciting ways. We are passionate about education, service, adventure and travel and we have translated that enthusiasm into quality adventures for everyone.
You can be confident that, whichever program your son or daughter may choose, the experience will make a lasting impression. The memories made while teaching English to orphans in Ecuador, scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef or learning Spanish in a Mediterranean seaside village will last a lifetime. Our programs incite curiosity about other cultures and about the natural world. The sense of accomplishment and empowerment that they impart is unparalleled.
As the parents of six teenagers between us, Lisa and I have experienced the unique challenges of raising kids in today’s privileged societies. We feel there is no better way to help your teenager connect to the world and gain perspective than through travel.
We also understand the need for programs that appeal to a diverse set of interests. We have designed our Language Adventures, Leadership Adventures, Blue Water Adventures and Community Service Adventures to meet every family’s unique needs.
For the past 26 years Adventures Cross-Country has pioneered life-changing programs for teenagers. Adventure travel can be one of the most educational, rewarding and empowering journeys a teenager can take. We hope you will join us this summer for the adventure of a lifetime.
