Announcing the 2017 Alumni Photo Contest Winners
By ARCC Staff
“What Does An ARCC Program Mean to You?”
A few weeks ago we launched our 2017 Alumni Photo Contest with the theme, “What does an ARCC Program mean to you?” Boy were we thrilled by all the incredible entries. There were hundreds of entries and votes and, needless to say, some pretty phenomenal photos from ARCC alumni. After tallying the votes we have selected the winners who shared photos and captions capturing the impact of their ARCC program. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

“In this photo we were teaching English at a primary school outside of Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was recess for all of the kids and this girl wanted to stay inside and keep learning. Myself and another friend taught her how to read a map and to use our cameras.”

“ARCC Gap Africa has single handedly been the most defining moment of my life. I have made friends both in the group but also making contacts and friends such as Ole M. Stony that we get to meet along the way. ARCC is about learning about yourself and others in the most beautiful and unique locations while helping to make the world a better place.”
“Playing with Ma”

“After a long, incredible day of working on building a kindergarten for our home of one week, Nawaisomo, we had the most amazing swim with our new best friends (including Ma)!”
There were so many great photos to choose from that we had to make a long list of honorable mentions. Please take a look at these other great photos from our awesome Alumni!
