Today was such an amazing day. We visited the Elma School, which offers free English, sports, and arts education for poor rural families. The kids were unbelievable.

They were all so nice, and their English skills were so much more advanced than I ever would have imagined them to be. But oh my Lord, the soccer! I played with the kids on the soccer field, and they simply astonished me. Their skills were far more advanced than many of my high school soccer team’s. I saw a 10-year-old child perform a bicycle kick. That is such a difficult move, to the point where I have only seen the pros do it! But here’s the catch: nothing was done in competitive spirit, but in laughter and fun. And that was just what my day consisted of: laughter and fun.
