ARCC Leader Since: 2013
Program(s) as Leader: Africa Service
Dream Trip: WWOOF across South America
Education: Engineering, University of Illinois, NOLS Wind River Wilderness
Cameron joined ARCC after spending a year teaching English in South Korea. A graduate of the NOLS Wind River Wilderness course, he is passionate about the outdoors, education and much more. He worked for the US Forest Service in Oregon before moving to South Korea, and has just moved to the Bay Area where he is working with youth. His ideal job would combine his passion for science with youth development in the outdoors. For him, “ARCC gives teenagers new perspective on what it means to be human. Students live, work, eat and laugh with people from all around the globe. They learn how similar we all are to one another and how to make positive changes in the world.” In downtime, Cameron enjoys cooking and eating spicy food, traveling, slack lining, learning Korean, meeting people from around the world, and learning.
