Emma grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, located just outside of Washington, DC. She recently moved back to the United States after living in Thailand for five years. While in Thailand, She worked for two different organizations that facilitate cross-cultural exchanges and volunteer experiences for young professionals, adults, gap year students and retirees from all over the world. Most recently, back in the Washington metro region, She worked as the Community Engagement Manager for a nonprofit that provides shared professional space and services to small and developing organizations. Emms has travelled domestically and internationally throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America and plan to continue traveling for as long as she still can. Traveling is always an adventure and opportunity for self-growth and reflection.
