While pursuing a Master’s degree, Hailey simultaneously works as the Outdoor Trips Program Coordinator at Oklahoma State, where nine months out of the year she is busy planning, organizing, staffing, and facilitating all the outdoor trips at the university, as well as working on the university’s challenge course as a facilitator. Trips range from caving in the limestone caves in Oklahoma, skiing in New Mexico, climbing in the Wichita and Ozark mountains, to backpacking through the Grand Canyon! When back at home in Virginia, she can be found on the fire scene or as an EMT at the Boones Mill Volunteer Fire Dept. During downtime, Hailey loves to kayak and hike, and in quieter moments she’s apt to pick up a paint brush or a camera.
