Hailing from ARCC’s hometown, Mill Valley, Jimmy is an avid traveler, runner, skier, historian and story teller. He’s spent his past three years working for Teach For America, teaching Kindergarten and First Grade in a public charter school in the French Quarter of New Orleans. He is currently taking time off to travel throughout South and Southeast Asia, before returning to his home in the Bay Area. He’s a guy who loves to put himself in challenging situations because he finds that those are where he learns and grows the most. He’s joined the ARCC family because it allows him to facilitate learning across the globe with wonderful groups of teenagers – “It is amazing to see the growth over the course of few weeks in the students on the trip. Furthermore, the bonds that are made within ARCC are closer to family ties, than ‘camp friends.’”
