Johanna joined the ARCC family in 2013 after spending a year working as an English teacher and living with a local family in Ecuador. Passionate about all things Latin America, Johanna’s extensive travel experience and language skills, coupled with her teaching background made her a perfect fit for Adventures Cross-Country! She most recently spent the last nine months living in Mexico City, teaching English and studying Mexican literature at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. When not traveling, teaching or hiking, Johanna can be found at concerts, doing yoga, reading or writing. She’s planning to begin a Master’s next year in Bilingual/Social Studies Education.
