Leslie comes to ARCC from Durham, New Hampshire. An outdoor enthusiast, he spends much of his free time exploring the mountains and forests of New Hampshire (or anywhere else he can escape to). After graduating from Eckerd University in 2012, Leslie spent 6 months in Australia where he participated in the program Willing Workers On Organic Farms and then went on to play and coach rugby in Hong Kong, before traveling extensively in Sumatra, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. This experience “was paramount in developing an array of traveling skills.” Leslie believes “traveling and exploring is the best way to become a true global citizen, as one develops an appreciation, understanding, and respect for the many diverse cultures on this Earth” and he shares this enthusiasm with his students at every opportunity.
