Phoebe grew up in Colorado and Minnesota. Her love for travel was incubated in Bozeman, Montana with The Traveling School when she spent three and a half months traveling throughout Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru with 13 other students and 4 teachers. After receiving her degree from Eckerd College, Phoebe returned to the The Traveling School as a Spanish teacher in South America. This cemented her path as an experiential educator. Phoebe had extensive group leadership and travel experience. Since 2012 Phoebe has worked for Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, leading sailing expeditions off of the coast of Maine in the summers and in the Florida Keys in the winter leading expeditions ranging anywhere from 6 to 22 days with participants 14-64 years old. She loves to sing: “music is a language that is universal and I look forward to sharing and singing many songs with my students.”
