Education: University of Vermont, Forensic Anthropology & Food Systems

Sally hails from Kentucky, but these days can be found in Vermont where she is completing her undergraduate studies and leading backpacking and hiking trips for the UVM Outdoors Club. Outside of school, she’s a mentor at the Boys and Girls Club in Burlington and leads weekly outdoor trips where she teaches the mentees LNT and outdoor living skills. Upon graduation, Sally plans to join Bike and Build with Habitat for Humanity. Her dream is to one day work as a forensic anthropologist, while continuing to lead outdoor education and leadership programs with students. In free time, Sally is an avid trail runner, squash player, and Telemark skier. She’s a lover of languages, traveling and cooking. For her “ARCC is a safe space for teenagers to bust from the seams of their comfort zone and reinvent themselves.”
